Over 100 paintings by renowned artists will mark the fall grand-opening, with two shows in the newly reimagined art galleries at the Monument Arts and Cultural Center (MACCenter), 44 Gypsy Lane Bennington.
Please join us for an opening night reception on
October 6th from 5:30-8:30
You’ll enjoy music, a cash bar and the company of these amazing artists.
The show, “Vermont Landscapes” will feature paintings in oil, gouache and watercolor by prominent regional artists Matt Chinian, James Coe, Tony Conner, Ann Larsen, John MacDonald, Robert Moylan, Eric Tobin, Mark Tougias, and George Van Hook.
In addition, we will have an exhibit of paintings and drawings by nationally acclaimed pastel master Corey Pitkin.
MACCenter Board member James Coe , whose ‘Farmscapes’ paintings also presently hang in the lobby of the Center has curated these shows: “Many of these painters are personal friends and I know their artwork to be of the very highest caliber, often winning awards in prominent national shows. These shows are breathtaking! I also expect the exhibits to be a revelation to our neighbors who have never before noticed what incredible talent flourishes right here in our community."
Vermont Landscapes will run from October 6th – December 31st. For more information check out www.monumentcentervt.org, or call (802) 318-4444
