This production is offering two equity guest artists contracts. Other roles will be non-union.  Prefer to cast local talent. 

Lead Adult Characters:

• Maria Rainer (musical theatre mix/soprano, dance, 20-35) 

• Captain Georg von Trapp  -  CAST

• Max Detweiller (tenor/baritone, moves well, 30+)

• Elsa Schrader (mezzo soprano, moves well, 35-45)

• Mother Abbess (legit soprano, wide vocal range, 40+, very strong actress)

• Rolf (low tenor, dance) 17 to 22 (must read to the audience 17)

Lead Children's Roles:

• Liesl von Trapp (mezzo, dance, age 16)

• Friedrich von Trapp (age 14)

• Louisa von Trapp (age 13)

• Kurt von Trapp (falsetto, age 10)

• Brigitta von Trapp (age 9)

• Marta von Trapp (age 7)

• Gretl von Trapp (6)

Audition Info:

At the audition, you will be asked to sing 16 bars of a show tune and dance to a brief combination.  You must sing to music either pre-recorded or available to stream.  If unable to make the audition please send a recording singing.  You must sing to music either pre-recorded or available to stream.
