DESCRIPTION:

Looking for a relaxing creative project to shake off the winter doldrums and have some fun?  Deb’s decoupage workshop offers just that.  Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just beginning your decoupage journey, this event is perfect for you.  Absolutely no experience is necessary.  She will share her tips and tricks to make your decoupage experience a successful one.  All materials will be supplied to create a plate or glass jar you can enjoy for years to come.

 

BIOGRAPHY:

Deb Higgins has lived and worked in Bennington for more than 50 years.  Her passion for arts and crafts goes back to early childhood.  For the past 5 years she has pursued the art of acrylic paint pouring but has recently returned to an old love of decoupage art.  She loves the fact that with this medium, you can turn the plain or boring into something beautiful and spectacular.  She has honed her skill over years of trial and error and now offers to share her expertise with you.

Monument Arts & Cultural Center is located in Bennington, Vermont and serves audiences throughout Southern Vermont, including Bennington, North Bennington, Shaftsbury, Arlington, Pownal, and Manchester, as well as nearby Williamstown and North Adams, Massachusetts, and Hoosick Falls and Cambridge, New York.
