Mark Klak

Technical Director

Music has always been a part of Mark's life. He performed in bands starting in high school and has been part of a band ever since. He has also been a guitar teacher, and continues to share his knowledge and
experience with eager students.

Before moving to Benninngton, Vermont in 2018, he owned and operated Klakworks Studios for many years in Buckingham, IL. Klakworks provided sound and lights for music venues hosting live bands. Other services included music festivals, grandstand sound for parades, and private sound recording sessions for local artists. One of his favorite activities was providing sound and lights for theater productions at the historic Majestic Theater in Kankakee, Illinois. Every year the theater hosted the radio play version of ,"It's a Wonderful Life", and Mark was there to ensure a flawless production.

His life-long dream was to relocate to the Bennington area where his mother was born and raised. He now operates Klakworks here in Bennington, and is happy to be a part of such a wonderful community of
artists. Mark is excited to be working with Kristine to bring the theater at the Monument Arts and Cultural Center back to life! Music is Mark's heart and soul.
