About the event
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change” is a musical comedy with book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro, and music by Jimmy Roberts. It is the second-longest running Off-Broadway musical in history.
The play uses sketches and songs to explore romantic relationships, from the first date through marriage, parenthood, in-laws, and geriatric pick-up lines. The cast comprises four characters who sing songs such as “Single Man Drought,” “Tear Jerk,” and “Shouldn’t I Be Less in Love With You.”
As the play's tagline goes, "Everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit."
