Build Your Skills. Find Your Voice. Take the Stage.
Who this is for: Students entering grades 3-12 who want to grow as musical theatre performers and strengthen singing, acting, movement, audition, and performance skills.
The Musical Theatre Workshop is a five-day program in a 350-seat proscenium theatre in beautiful Bennington, Vermont. Students begin together each day and then move into focused classes that build specific performance skills.
Throughout the week, students work on a solo musical theatre piece of their own. This gives each participant audition material they can continue to use, while also building confidence as a solo performer. These individual pieces will be included in the final showcase.
Students also take part in group work, including scene study, song interpretation, staging, choreography, and ensemble performance. The goal is to help students understand not only how to sing a song, but how to perform it with character, intention, and connection to the audience.
