Musicians Camp July 6-11th
Play. Collaborate. Perform.

Who this is for: Young musicians entering grades 3-12 who want to play with others, build confidence, and experience the energy of making music as part of a group.
Monument Music Camp gives students a full-week music experience inside the Monument Arts and Cultural Center. Each day begins with a large group drum circle, where students use rhythm, listening, and teamwork to start the day together. Even students who do not normally play drums take part, helping the group build focus, energy, and a sense of ensemble.
After the morning drum circle, students split into groups throughout the center. They work in ensembles, strings, percussion, and musical theatre-related sessions. The goal is to help young musicians grow individually while also learning how to listen, respond, support one another, and perform as part of a larger artistic team.
A special part of the camp is the connection between music and musical theatre. Students learn more about what performers need from musicians and how singers, actors, dancers, and instrumentalists work together to create a successful performance.
